Stuart D. Schooler was trained as a chemical engineer and began his career as an environmental engineer on the Texas Gulf Coast. He started writing newsprint social satire part-time for the Denver Post and the Washington Business Journal, among others, after a career move to Colorado. He also holds an MS in Energy Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School. Stuart Schooler runs a real estate development company that specializes in cleaning up and redeveloping properties contaminated by mankind’s shortsightedness.
Stuart and his wife, Marlene, have five children, ages 23 to 13, including 19 year old triplets. Two dogs and a couple of guinea pigs usually complete the household. Stuart grew up in Washington, DC and the family currently splits its time between Annapolis, Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay and Bethesda, MD.
